We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 8+, Angular, TypeScript, databases, and testing frameworks, along with the ability to drive technical solutions, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.
Work Location: Onsite (5 days per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java and Angular.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, design patterns, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and core Java concepts.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Hibernate, JPA, or other ORM frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, automated testing, and test-driven development.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience.
