We are seeking a Python Developer with 5+ years experience to build and support scalable data engineering solutions across modern cloud and legacy environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Python, PySpark, AWS, SQL, and data engineering experience, with a passion for automation and modern technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data solutions for real-time and batch processing.
- Build data engineering and automation solutions using Python, PySpark, AWS, and modern Big Data technologies.
- Develop and support cloud-based solutions while maintaining legacy applications.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes and enhancements.
- Support production applications and communicate incident resolutions effectively.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities for modernization and process improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience across the SDLC.
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with Python, PySpark, and AWS.
- Experience with AWS S3, Glue, EMR, Data Lake, and Delta Lake.
- 3+ years of experience with complex SQL and Unix/Linux.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to lead or mentor junior developers.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and work with new and legacy technologies.
